Mobile Facebook isn’t blocked

Hi I use messenger to chat with my family overseas. I am able to access mobile facebook via messenger. Unfortunately, the block doesn’t work. I have to block messenger which is difficult for me because I use it to communicate with family and friends. Is there a way to block facebook without blocking messenger? Thanks
