Hi, I really like the idea behind the app, especially the life bar concept and the breathing exercise before unlocking apps. It’s a very creative and helpful approach.
However, I have a couple of suggestions that I think could improve the experience significantly:
1. Multiple Custom Modes (like Focus modes on iOS):
Right now, you can block apps or set time ranges, but everything is quite limited to one configuration. I would love the ability to create multiple custom “modes,” similar to Apple’s Focus or Do Not Disturb modes.
For example:
A “Sleep Mode” where all apps are blocked
A “Work Mode” where only social media and entertainment apps are blocked, but essential apps like WhatsApp or SMS remain accessible
This would allow users to tailor the app to different situations in their daily life. Currently, it’s not possible to have different sets of blocked apps for different contexts, which feels limiting.
2. Life Bar Accuracy:
The life bar currently only reflects time spent on apps that are selected/blocked. This can be misleading.
For example:
If I don’t select YouTube as a “bad” app and then spend 4 hours on it, the life bar still looks positive even though I clearly wasted time.
It would be better if the life bar reflected overall screen time or allowed users to define what counts as “productive” vs “unproductive” more flexibly.
Overall Suggestion:
I think the app would benefit a lot from being more customizable and personalized. Every user has different habits and needs, so giving more control over configurations would make the experience much more powerful and meaningful.
