Blocking is inactive until I open the brainrot app

I don’t know if I just have a setting incorrect… but all my blocking times and blocked apps are in place, but it doesn’t activate on a day until I open the brainrot app. Which defeats the point of me having it set to block social apps in the morning. Have I got a setting wrong or is this a bug that needs fixing? I have refreshed the app regularly
